An effective method of sending NTSC or PAL video over a relatively long distance would be to use twisted pair cables. These cables are cheaper than coax and may already be existing at an installation. It’s possible to take advantage of the balanced nature of these twisted pair cables to gain noise immunity as you send the signal along a length of wire to the receiving end. The block diagram shown here allows for converting a single-ended video signal into a differential one prior to sending it through the twisted pair cable.
