Here’s an actual implementation of the block diagram that is shown. At the receiving end, the differential signal is converted back to single-ended and then is sent along to the display for viewing. The circuit uses a single LMH6643 high-speed Op Amp which contains two Op Amps inside to perform the function of single to differential conversion at the source. By using two devices in a package, you will take advantage of the inherent matching of these two devices in addition to obvious cost and space benefits. The top half produces a gain of +2 and the lower one a gain of -2. Since the characteristic impedance of a twisted pair cable is around 100 ohm, each output is fitted with a series 50 ohm resistor for matching purposes.
