Current Shunt Monitors Slide 6

There are a number of key specifications for current shunt monitors. The common mode voltage range determines the maximum allowable voltage between the input terminals and ground.  While the offset voltage error is often the limiting factor in accuracy. The monitor output can be a voltage, a current or a digital output. Supply voltage and current are always top considerations for system fit as well as many other features that accompany these devices.
