TDK provides the following design support tools for free on TDK’s website. Please utilize them for circuit design and EMC counter-measures. SEAT: Component characteristic analysis software, is a free software product that can display the characteristics of various TDK components (ceramic capacitors, chip beads, inductors (coils), common mode filters), simulate their effects on a computer, and so on. The CCV: Components characteristic viewer, is a tool that provides the customer with a simple online procedure for checking the basic, frequency, DC-Bias and temperature characteristics of TDK electronic parts. The customer can use it as a tool for selecting a TDK electronic part. The TVCL: Electronic component models for circuit simulators, These are simulation models for reproducing the characteristics of TDK electronic components in simulators. S-parameter, equivalent circuit model, SPICE model as well as libraries for various simulators are offered. The engineer recommends the DC bias model, which considers the frequency and DC bias characteristics, for power supply circuit design.
