In the conventional type, because the electricity has to go through the narrow wrap around area of terminal to the land pattern, this can be considered to be three resistors in series. However with the KRL series, because the terminal is formed directly under the resistor which soldered directly to the land pattern, terminals can be ignored as resistive element. This makes the KRL’s TCR much better than conventional type. This is very important because a current sensors resistive value is very low and any terminal resistance or large TCR will affect the accuracy of current measurement.
