Three kinds of motors are used for the powerSPIN family: DC Motors, Stepper motors and BLDC for three-phase motors. These devices can be used in most applications where the operating voltage is 8 to 52 V. PowerSpin has a low RDS(on) and has two classes of currents, 2.8 A or 5.6 A. The devices can be paralleled to double the current, have an extensive protection scheme, and they have CMOS and TTL inputs.
