Standex Electronics standard SMD Sensor series range from 5 mm up to 22.5 mm in length. Some series are available in a variety of lead designs from J-Lead to Gull-Wing to Axial. The MK23 series represents a low-cost bare reed switch solution in a surface mount design as small as 7 mm and options up to 1,000 V_DC switching. Molded MK series surface mount sensors offer more durability in harsh environments, industrial applications, and where customers may have less than ideal handling techniques during value-add assembly. In addition to Normally Open (Form A) sensors, the MK24, MK15, and MK01 also offer a Normally Closed (Form B) contact configuration, while the MK23-90 and MK01 series have single-pole double throw changeover (Form C) option.
