MediaGauge™ digital pressure gauges contain a media isolated piezoresistive pressure sensing element, and a stainless steel input pressure port and diaphragm. Not only does the stainless steel diaphragm isolate the piezoresistive strain gauge elements from harsh industrial media, but it has insignificant movement during pressure applications (the total sensor excursion being on the order of tens of microns instead of tenths of inches). Since the MediaGauge Digital Pressure Gauges have no moving parts to wear out, the net effect is long life in high pressure cycle installations.
