The effects of integrating the LDO into the MCU are shown here. Adding the LDO maintains a constant current independent of the supply voltage, illustrated by the term CVLDOF. The plot shows the new power curve which is now linear with respect to the supply voltage and is reduced over the original curve. Even with the addition of the quiescent current of the LDO, the power consumption is improved.
