A High Current Toroidal Common Mode Choke also known as the HCTC is a component capable of carrying heavy current with high inductance, to efficiently mitigate the effects of Common Mode electrical noise conducted in the same direction on both the line and ground paths of power circuits. The advantages would be small DC Resistances, low Core Losses, reduced EMI and Operating Temperatures, leading to higher efficiencies and excellent CM noise suppression. The design itself results in a safe and reliable component, offering a smaller footprint, reduced overall size, stable mounting, and easy PCB insertion utilizing less board space.
