ATE Test After EFT Test Checks for Parametric Shifts

In addition to the visual confirmation of normal transceiver operation, all transceivers were tested on an automatic test system (ATE) for parametric performance. The pass criterion required that a device did not show any parametric shifts; the ATE test confirmed that none of the transceivers showed parametric shifts. Thus, the RAA78815x transceivers successfully passed all EFT tests with up to 5 kV test voltage, the highest possible test voltage of the AXOS-5 test system. These test results place the RAA78815x transceivers into the highest special test level category of IEC 61000-4-4, which makes them one of the industry’s most immune transceivers against EFT assaults.
