RECOM POWER has developed three new families using improved technology to overcome the limitations that DC/DC converters had in the past in the 8-15 W market, allowing penetration into new markets. Some of the improved specifications developed by RECOM include higher isolation (up to 3 kVDC), lower output ripple and noise, lower electromagnetic interference, no use of tantalum capacitors and improved full power operating temperature (up to 85ºC).
