In summary, RECOM DC/DC converters are widely used in a huge variety of applications. There were, though, some limitations with the specifications of DC/DC modules in applications that required over 8 W of power, limited isolation and limited operating temperature. Technology improvements have allowed RECOM to develop three new converter series with higher isolation, higher operating temperature range and lower noise and EMC; in the same industry standard packages. These new specifications and features open the door for RECOM DC/DC converters to enter new markets, particularly the medical and telecom applications.
