The third emerging problem is related to intrusion risk, especially within critical infrastructure segments. IT security teams have become more and more concerned about knowing what devices are connected to the network.  They also want to see what changes are occurring on the network. For example, a rogue router cannot plug into a network without becoming detected and identified. This is a challenge since typically IT tools do not monitor down to the edge since their primary focus is servers and switches.
