OptConnect has a full line of routers and embedded modems to fit any application. Included with each device is the necessary antenna(s), power cord, ethernet cable, quick start guide, and access to OptConnect’s cloud-based device management platform, Summit. OptConnect’s neo is a 4G LTE Cat 3 high speed router that works with with either AT&T or Verizon services. Not much bigger than a deck of cards, the neo is housed in a rugged, aircraft-grade aluminum enclosure that provides plug and play functionality for instant connectivity. By just powering the neo and connecting it via ethernet to the equipment, an over the air internet connection is made. In the event the neo ever loses its connection, it will attempt to re-establish with its proprietary onboard intelligence. If the customer ever has a question if neo is connecting, the customer can go to Summit, OptConnect’s cloud-based management platform to view its status. If the field technicians are on site, they can query the neo for its signal strength, bandwidth, and cellular interference using a local API called Glimpse™.
