The next four slides will build upon each other to illustrate the four high level variants that make up the “KL” family. The first variant, or the KL1 variant, is shown on this slide, and represents the lowest cost “KL” parts. They have no A/D converter and no EEPROM, and maintain a very simple peripheral and memory mix within 14- and 20-pin packages. In response to customer feedback for the PIC24F “KA” devices the KL1 offers debug with three breakpoints.
