Product List
Shown on this slide is a view of the complete working solution, starting with the MAXREFDES131 which is the 1-wire bus with the Panasonic Grid-EYE sensor. This board communicates via I²C to the 1-wire converter chip. In the example shown, one MAXREFDES131 is used for single room control, but the user can daisy-chain up to 100 boards for additional data collection. Next is the Panasonic Grid-EYE sensor. This thermopile is built on a ceramic package with thermistors in the sensor to compensate its own temperature to maintain accurate readings. The MAX32600MBED is an ARM mbed platform development board in the Arduino form factor. It works in the mbed ecosystem. Lastly, the MAXREFDES130 platform is a shield with firmware to work with both mbed and Arduino development environments. This shield features three latching relays for heating, cooling and fan functions, a thermistor to measure temperature, a 1-wire master, eight relays for AC power switching, a real time clock, a 4 to 20 mA output and input, eight analog outputs, and multiple DC/DC converters.
