One of the greatest advantages of the MAX31875 is the small size. The WLP footprint is about half the size of the closest competitive temp sensor. For example, the WL-QFN 8-pin pin-out can fit inside a standard 8 lead umax pin out. The MAX31875 also offers the best performance in multi-range temperature accuracy.
