In summary, this presentation has introduced the engineer to thermocouple temperature measurement circuits and principles. The MAX31856 was introduced together with the evaluation system giving the engineer an accurate Thermocouple-to-Digital Converter IC which simplifies designs and lowers system cost. In addition a list of further technical literature including application notes and tutorials are available to make it easy to design using Analog Devices' devices.
