This slide shows how Analog Devices can help the user reduce time to market. When designing a power solution, designers are probably facing some of the following challenges. Many FPGAs and processors demand multiple power rails, each with its own voltage, current, and regulation requirements. Manually evaluating all the different power designs and available ICs is time intensive and impractical. Documenting an FPGA power design is burdensome because it draws from an XPE, a drawing tool, simulators, parametric engines, BOMs, etc. To aid in development, Analog Devices offers a design tool called EE-Sim. In addition to system power design, EE-Sim offers simulation capability. This is a cloud-based design software that allows the user to save and share designs online, enabling Analog Devices' power experts to debug their paper designs remotely. To get started, the user just needs to specify the input and output voltages and current, the tool will select the appropriate power product, automatically generating the schematic and BOM. With EE-Sim, designers can complete their multi-rail power design in two hours, rather than days.
