Image of KEMET's Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors Slide 15

The standard series could only withstand up to 10g vibration but with the new series it can withstand 20g vibration. The blue circle shown here represents the aluminum electrolytic can and the yellow circle inside represents the foil winding inside the capacitor. The illustration represents a 10g vibration snap in, pay close attention to the yellow circle, it gets bigger. Improvements to the internal robustness of the capacitor can be made by winding more foil which helps reduce the vibration caused inside in the capacitor for different applications. How much of a difference does this make? The two part numbers highlighted in yellow have the same case size but one has a higher rated capacitance than the other, the one with a higher cap is the one that has more foil winding on the inside.
