The iSYS-6030 works between 60 and 63.8GHz and is a FMCW-Radar modulated sensor. The detection range is up to 40 meters. The separation of two targets with the same radar cross section is possible with a resolution of 12cm. The field of view is very focused and precise with only 6 degrees in azimuth and elevation. The distance measurement is impressively accurate and reliable thanks to the achieved and very low measurement error rate of only ±0.1% over range. It has a fast update rate of 20ms for continuous distance control and enables fast measuring cycles. After a rise of typically 70ms, the device is ready for operation. Moving objects can be detected with up to 15 kilometers per hour. The iSYS-6030 works within a temperature range of -40°C to 85°C and a supply voltage between 3.6 and 16VDC. It also comes with four configurable digital outputs for control functions. The system can be connected via pin headers with 1.27mm pitch and a Molex connector with 1.50mm pitch. The sensor has small outlines and is equipped with a lens for punctual and focused radar detection. The frequency band allows the product to be used within Europe, USA, and China.
