The IMD-2000 works between the transmit frequencies 24.150GHz to 24.250GHz and is a frequency shift key (FSK) radar modulated sensor. ETSI and FCC approvals are available, and a worldwide certification is possible. The sensor has a standard field of view of 98° in azimuth x 48° in elevation. The detection range can individually be configured, but the maximum is 50 meters. The typical detection of people is within up to 30 meters. The IMD-2000 offers a velocity range from 0.23 to 28.43 km/h and a velocity resolution of 0.23 km/h. It has an update rate of 100 ms. The operating and storage temperature is between -30°C to 80°C. It operates with a supply voltage between 3.8V to 7.2V and has a low power consumption. The included processing unit outputs a target list via UART. The IMD-2000 is equipped with a 6x1 pitch pin header connector. Also, a connection via USB to TLL serial cable for easy evaluation of the module is possible.
