Different DIN 41 612 connectors are given a designation defining the characteristics and dimensions in accordance with the specification. The standard types are common to all manufacturers. The HARTING offering includes types D, E, and F and complementary types F2, F9, and FM. Within this group, multiple terminations styles for both PCB and wire mount types are available. Types D, E, and F include some versions with straight and angled PCB termination for both genders. Contact spacing is 5.08mm; type E angled males include an option for 2.54mm spacing on the termination side. Types F2, F9, and FM were developed to meet specific customer requests offering between 9 and 45 contacts in limited termination options. All types can be specially loaded on request. Leading pins are available for first mate-last break functionality.
