Notice that the Over current warning is still on. This is actually by design. All faults must be cleared by clicking the “Clear Faults” button. This allows the master controller to retain any fault events until they are actively cleared. This happens even if the faults have passed. For example, if a short duration pulse of 6 A were to occur with an average current of 2 A, then setting the OC warning below 6 A would capture the event. This is because a fast transient is tripping the fault, and the module retains this fault until the user chooses to clear it. This allows the user to capture faults that occur faster than the PMBus time resolution would allow.
