As mentioned before, the ColdFire Flexis QE family is part of the Flexis ColdFire Portfolio which offers 32-bit high performance devices, based on the ColdFire architecture. The ColdFire portfolio is based on four different ColdFire cores, Versions 1 through 4, each offering a range of performance spans from 50MHz all the way up to 266MHz core frequency. This means designers can pick the perfect device for their performance and integration needs. Also, designers can use the same software tools because the architecture is basically the same throughout the entire portfolio.
