For proper function the user needs to adapt the terminating resistor of the secondary winding. This slide shows an example of how to calculate the value of this resistor for a typical output voltage of 5V. This example of a current sense transformer is using a turn ratio of 1:100. In combination with a maximum primary current of 5A, the corresponding value of the terminating resistor is 100.
