PSoC can simplify analog sensor based systems. As mentioned before, there are several programmable analog blocks in the PSoC analog coprocessor. Analog blocks like the 14 bit delta sigma, analog filtering blocks, op amps, comparators, and MUXs. These programmable analog blocks are configured using components in PSoC Creator. This example shown here is a schematic of a gas detector. Then each of these blocks, like the op amp, ADC, or filters, are configured down to their lowest level parameters using the component configuration tools, and eventually programmed onto the PSoC analog coprocessor chip, as many times over, to create the eventual end system.
