The PSoC 4000 family is intended to be a simple MCU and basic analog replacement and is a device to implement user interfaces. It features a 32-bit Arm Cortex-M0 subsystem with programmable analog and programmable digital peripherals. On the analog front, it has two IDACs and one comparator which can be used stand alone or to implement a CapSense controller for up to sixteen pins. The devices also features one timer-counter PWM block and one I2C block. The PSoC 4000 family comes with four packages: an 8-pin SOIC, a 16-pin SOIC, a 16-pin QFN and a 24-pin QFN.
