The PWR263S-20 has several unique features and advantages. It is designed to withstand very high temperatures without damage to the plastic housing or the internal pin connections and is fully qualified to handle peak reflow temperatures of 260˚C, the standard in lead free solder processing. By the nature of the planar layout of the resistor element, the inductance in the component is very low, less than 0.1 µH. This low parasitic inductance helps the resistor pass high frequency signals without delays or distortions. Also, the resistor is a fully-sealed device, which helps protect it from environmental conditions.
