The coupling factor (K) of shielded, semi-shielded, and non-shielded 10 µH inductors were measured at 1 kHz. As the test results indicate, the shielded inductors had the lowest coupling factor at 0.16%, followed by semi-shielded at 18.7% and finally the non-shielded inductors at 37.8%.
