Product List
The AVR® architecture provides an inherently low power consuming MCU in active mode. Further, since it uses a lot less time processing tasks compared to most other 8-bit microcontrollers, it spends more time in sleep mode. What is important in many battery-powered applications is the power consumption while the device is in sleep mode. Here, the power consumption is lowered through a number of award-winning Microchip picoPower® technology features which include: low leakage silicon process, 1.8V operation, advanced sleep modes and the possibility to turn off select peripherals, digital input disable registers, Flash sampling, sleeping BOD, and a 32kHz ultra-low power oscillator.
