A tinyAVR® MCU is REALLY tiny and offers a lot of space-saving potential. All package types are highly integrated from a functionality standpoint. All of them support QTouch® technology, offering a cost- and space-effective replacement of mechanical push buttons. tinyAVR devices are delivered in many different packages. If the PCB holds bulky thru-hole components and space is not a constraint, it may be wise to go with PDIP or SOIC. In the most space-constraint designs, using leadless packages QFN or UDFN can result in huge space savings.
