The Start Page of Atmel Studio presents the most useful information and functions that a new user needs to get started. On the left, there is quick access to creating or opening projects, including quick access to recent projects. On the right is a collection of useful tutorials, user guides and recent announcements from Microchip. Tutorials include a number of videos that cover the most basic aspects of working with Atmel Studio. There are also more advanced topics. The number of “Tips and Tricks” videos hosted by Microchip applications engineers are steadily growing. Microchip recommends that the user spends some time with this material to get familiar with Atmel Studio. Like all professional tools, it is a toolbox with many functions that will make users a lot more productive once they master them.
