The ADL5511 RF detector has some interesting functionality. It has two independent measurement blocks. The first block is a linear in Volts-per-Volt RMS responding detector with a measurement range of 40dB. The second block detects the envelope of the signal. In the oscilloscope photo, the pink trace follows the averaged rms signal strength of the signal while the blue trace tracks the envelope. The envelope output of this device has a 3dB bandwidth of approximately 100MHz, making it usable as a envelope detector for wideband and multi-carrier signals.
