FCI’s BergStak® 0.8mm product range includes 120- and 80-position connectors configured for 16mm stack height, which may be used to connect between an SSI Compute Blade and an SSI Mezzanine card. These connectors feature dual rows of contacts on 0.8mm pitch and a robust blade-on-beam contact design to prevent contact damage from “peeling” during connector engagement and separation. Connector polarization features and ample lead-in angles assure easy, repeatable mating. These surface-mount connectors can be provided in tape-on-reel packaging to support automated placement or in tubes to protect against damage during shipping and handling. With 12 available stack heights and 9 available circuit sizes, the BergStak 0.8mm product family also provides and extraordinary range of interconnect options for other board-stacking applications.
