The second application grouping is low surface energy and challenging substrates. Examples of low surface energy are polypropylene, polyethylene and powder coated paints. There are two adhesive families that are ideal solutions for this grouping, 3M adhesive 300MP and 300LSE families. These families provide higher peel bond strength to low surface energy plastics than the 3M adhesive 100MP and 200MP families. They have very good chemical, humidity, and temperature resistance with a typical bond strength to polypropylene of 136 oz/inch.
