Arduino Launches the Arduino UNO Mini Limited-Edition Board
2021-11-29 | By Travis Foss
To celebrate selling over 10 million UNO boards, Arduino has produced a Limited-Edition version of the UNO board, the UNO Mini Limited Edition. The Arduino UNO, which launched back in 2010, has become the board that most commonly represents the Arduino name.
Due to meeting the milestone of 10 million boards sold, Arduino created something super cool to celebrate this milestone. The board they came up with is the UNO Mini Limited Edition.
The UNO Mini Limited Edition has similar specifications to the original Arduino UNO boards; however, they have added a few updates users are sure to love. One of the first things users will notice is that the USB port has been updated to a USB-C port. The second change users will notice is the footprint is much smaller than the original. With a footprint of 34.2mm x 26.7mm x 8mm, the UNO Mini Limited Edition is a quarter of the size of the most recent version of the UNO boards, the UNO Rev 3.
These Limited-edition boards come individually numbered, creating an excellent collector item for anyone who loves Arduino products. With all the features that users love, the new UNO Mini Limited Edition will be a collector’s item for years to come.
