Inclinometers

Inclinometer products are designed to measure the orientation of an object with respect to gravity. Typically based on some form of accelerometer, inclinometers are distinguished from general purpose accelerometers by an ability to produce outputs that indicate orientation directly, rather than as measurements of acceleration that require processing to extract orientation information.
