Shown here are some key features of the Artix®-7 family. The low power GTP transceivers are capable of up to 6.6Gb/s, enabling up to 211Gb/s bandwidth. The DSP slice in the Artix-7 is a wider 25 x 18 multiplier with 25-bit pre-adder, enabling up to 931 giga multiply-accumulates per second at 629MHz. The optimized and flexible soft memory controller enables DDR3 support at up to 1066Mb/s. The integrated XADC user-configurable analog interface helps to reduce BOM cost by integrating discrete analog components. System monitoring with on-chip thermal and power supply sensors enables compliance with reliability standards, such as IEC61508. Artix-7 offers the smallest form factor package for 17,000 to 215,000 logic cells. This family meets the needs of size, weight, power, and cost (SWaP-C) sensitive markets like avionics and communications. Artix-7 offers design security with AES256 CBC Mode bitstream decryption and SHA-256 bitstream symmetric authentication. Artix-7 has high-range I/Os with support for I/O voltage from 1.2V to 3.3V. It's PCI compliant 3.3V high range I/O up to 1.25Gb/s enables up to 300Gb/s aggregate LVDS bandwidth. The Block RAMs in Artix-7 are 36kb in size, and can be used as two independent 18kb blocks. The largest Artix-7 device offers up to 12.8Mb of BRAM.
