The Vishay ISOA series are AEC-Q200 qualified thick film power resistors built on an Alumina substrate in a SOT-227 package for mounting directly onto a heatsink. The resistors feature the ability to integrate an NTC Thermistor inside the resistor package to enable direct temperature monitoring while applying power. Vishay also offers the option to deliver the resistors with pre-applied Phase Change Thermal Interface Material to help streamline installation of the resistor in production. The 120 W resistors can handle high energy pulses (i.e. 110 J for 0.1 s), are non-inductive, are offered in values between 0.47 ohms and 1 mega-ohms in tolerances 5% or 10% and feature a 1500 V operating voltage rating.
