Among these, Vishay’s featured Lug Thermistor series has some unique characteristics that are highlighted here in more detail. The LUG01T Series provides superior stability at a peak temperature of 150°C. More specifically, its resistance drift (∆R/R25) is specified at ≤±3% after 5000 hours at 150°C dry heat. Another key feature of the LUG01T is its insulation voltage withstanding; a robust rating of 2.7 kVAC. Its durable construction utilizes a tin plated copper ring tongue terminal and a NEMA HP-3, 600 VRMS rated ETFE insulated cable. It can be easily mounted to a surface by means of an M3 screw allowing for a good thermal contact and accurate surface temperature measurement. The LUG01T Thermistor can be manufactured in a number of NTC resistance values and beta curve combinations with tolerances as low as 1%. In addition, the LUG01T is AEC-Q200 Automotive qualified and select configurations are also UL recognized. As with all other Lug thermistors, this series can also be customized to meet specific design needs.
