Vishay Barry offers a wide range of RF power resistors based on thick-film technology, including surface-mount chip resistors, ribbon-leaded resistors, and flange-mounted resistors designed to be mounted onto a heatsink. Three substrate materials are offered, including beryllium-oxide (BeO), aluminum-nitride (AlN), and alumina (Al2O3). Standard chip resistor sizes range from EIA 0201 to 5050 and resistance ranges from 0.1 Ω to 1 GΩ, with tolerances from ±1% to ±5%. Depending on the substrate used and the configuration, the resistors are designed to handle from 0.25 W to over 5,000 W for custom configurations.
