Another key feature of the Condor is its high performance video and graphics capability. Intel’s advanced HD graphics 520 engine provides outstanding graphics performance and is capable of supporting up to three simultaneous video streams. On-board hardware acceleration is available for encode and decode of JPEG, MJPEG, MPEG2, AVC, MVC, HEVC 8-bit, VC-1, VP9, and other standards. The graphics engine also supports DirectX 12, Open GL 4.4, Open CL 2.0, and full HD video playback. Two DisplayPort++ interfaces and a dual-channel LVDS flat panel interface are available on the Condor. The DisplayPort outputs are both capable of driving UHD 4K displays. The LVDS output also has backlight control signals. In addition, optional display adapters are available that can convert the DP++ outputs to HDMI or VGA outputs.
