Roughly the size of a credit card and less than one inch thick, the Hawk is a highly-integrated embedded computer. It combines the new 4th generation Intel® Atom™ “Bay Trail” processor, with system interfaces, in a form factor designed to withstand extreme temperature, impact, and vibration. The Hawk is ideal for embedded applications needing a small size embedded computer module designed for low power, reliability, and a long production life. In addition it comes equipped with multi-core processing options, numerous high-speed interconnects, as well as flexible expansion and storage options. The Hawk, like all VersaLogic products, is designed for a minimum production life of five years. Many of VersaLogic’s products are available for 10 or more years. There are structured programs available that can extend the product life to 15 or even 20 years! VersaLogic developed the Hawk relying on over 35 years of experience supplying embedded computer boards to industrial, medical, and defense customers.
