Cables and Connectivity Portfolio Slide 4

Provide nearly unlimited bandwidth at high speeds over long distances with Tripp Lite’s full line of fiber optic cables. Tripp Lite fiber optic cables offer unparalleled quality and a wide range of options. Each cable assembly comes with its test data affixed to the package, displaying compliance to ANSI specifications. All Tripp Lite Fiber Optic cables feature an attenuation loss that meets or exceeds the latest industry standards. “Attenuation Loss” refers to the loss of transmission power as the optical light travels through the cable’s fiber. All cables have a PVC jacket and are FDDI and OFNR rated. Since all cables are backward compatible, it ensures that cabling investments will always keep pace with technology. Higher bandwidth provides built-in headroom to accommodate future applications. Bandwidth size progresses upward from 62.5/125 to 50/125 to 8.3/125 (twice the bandwidth of 62.5/125) to 10 Gbps 50/125 (three times the bandwidth of 62.5/125). 10 Gbps 50/125 cables are designed for use with 10Gb Ethernet applications, with performances rivaling 8.3/125 single mode cables at a much reduced cost. It offers a maximum 10 Gbps distance of 300 meters and a low-smoke, zero halogen (LSZH) aqua jacket. Mode Conditioning cables allow high-speed gigabit 1000BASE-LX routers and switches (with single mode output) to be deployed into an existing infrastructure with multimode cabling. Couplers and Adapters provide a simple and easy way to link two fiber optic cables. Media Converters convert Cat5e/Cat6 cable for use in fiber optic applications. Patch Panels provide efficient and easy management of fiber optic cables in a rack or cabinet. Tripp Lite offers custom cables (various lengths and colors, multi-fiber assemblies, and outdoor-rated fiber). Typical turnaround time is two business days.
