The TIB-EX series is designed specifically for applications in both hazardous locations and industrial environments. They are a DIN Rail mounted type of AC/DC power supply and are offered in 4 power ranges of 80, 120, 240 and 480 W. Each model can provide 150% peak output power for up to 4 seconds. With a very high efficiency of 90 to 95% typical, they use less power and run cooler without any need for internal fans or forced air. The wide operating temperature range is from -40°C to +70°C with full load output power available from -40°C to +60°C. Packaged in a rugged metal case, they have a side mounting option that provides a lower profile for flat panels. The series has an important Back Power Immunity feature that helps protect against shut-down or malfunction with loads such as inductors and decelerating motors that can feed voltage back to the power supply. Additional protection featured include short circuit and power overload and they are SEMI F47 compliant for voltage sag immunity. A one million hours mean time between failure coupled with a five year product warranty indicate the long-term reliability of this product family.
