Shown here is the set-up for measuring resistance. Turn the selector dial to the resistance position and connect the test leads to the input jacks. Be sure the circuit being tested is turned OFF. Touch the test leads to the device under test. The resistance is displayed in the digital display.  Also, to check the continuity of a circuit follow the same steps for resistance but press the F2 button. This converts the Resistance function into a Continuity Tester. Touch the test leads to the device under test. Continuity is indicated by an audible beep and resistance is displayed in the digital display.
