A typical microcontroller seen in systems such as on the previous page may have a nominal VCC voltage of 3.3 V and a tolerance of 10%. In this case the VCC voltage cannot deviate more than 300 mV across varying input voltages (line regulation), varying processing load consumption (load regulation) and temperature changes (reference voltage accuracy), both ambient and due to self-heating.
