Code Composer Support for the Concerto Line Slide 6

The next several slides demonstrate how to connect to the cores for the very first time using the emulator. To begin, a target configuration is needed, just like any other C2000 device. This is done by selecting File, New, Target Configuration File, from the main CCS window. Name the target configuration file as desired, typically name it something that makes sense like F28M35. Then, select the emulator from the drop down list. As can be seen, a spectrum digital XDS 510 USB is being used in the example on this slide. Finally, in the device list that appears below the emulator dropdown, select the specific Concerto class device being used.
